Would you welcome him playing for your club?

There is a player who is widely regarded as a diver. In the language of FIFA and UEFA he is a player who is guilty of simulation, he is a serial simulator.

In my language, the language of a Mancunian football fan, he is  a cheat, and a recidivist too.

The same player is so used to cheating that he used his hand to stop the opposition scoring in a World Cup game, the opposition Ghana went out of the tournament.

The player is of such great character that after the game he bragged that ‘he had made the save of the tournament’.

The same player has also been banned for seven games by the Dutch FA for biting an opponent and was dubbed the Cannibal of Ajax.

He was sold by his club to England where he has been banned for 8 games for racially abusing a fellow professional, he refuses to accept responsibility for it.

He then caused uproar by refusing to shake hands with the player he was found guilty of racially abusing on live television.

In the short time he has been in England he has dragged a once great clubs name through the mud and made it more a pariah club than one held in high esteem.

I’m just glad that he has no connection to my club.
